I will go check out the condition of the pavement up at Silver Star. I would suspect it's not that great anymore but worth a look since I live on the way up there anyways.

I was up their during the easter weekend. The parking lot looks good, not 100% sure seeing how their were alot of vehicles up their also for the hill climb.

I'm off this weekend so i'll stop in at silverstar and check it out. I'm trying to think of any places to race and so far none come up

Looks like a bunch of snow up at Silver Star this morning... winter ain't over yet!

Took a rip up Silver Star this past Sunday evening... there is A LOT of gravel and sand on the lot. Size is great, but it would have to be seriously cleaned off before we could hold anything up there. Even if it is cleaned, it may be pretty bumpy. Just FYI.

Thanks! Sounds like we would need to spend some money on getting the lot swept. I'll ask if any of the other clubs are interested in sharing the cost - otherwise I'm guessing it wouldn't be very cost effective.
Of course I don't believe anyone has approached Silver Star about holding an autocross up there in probably 15 years....not sure if it's even an option at this point.
