We will be counting 75% of the total events (rounded down). I think we are scheduled to have 15 so we'll count 11 if things go as planned.
After 6 events....

Or you could look at it this way....average points per event.

I think for averaging, a "normal" method would involve disregarding the highest and the lowest value to take away the "one off" results. Not sure how this would apply to "someone" that has the same boring result race after race...yawn
Maybe "we" should do a statistical analysis to determine the number of events that are actually required to have any "statistical significance". Otherwise, keeping track is really a moot point :p

Kelowna Year-To-Date after 11 races. Let the drops begin and get your races in if you haven't hit 11.
By my count there will definitely be a new champion this year. King Richard only has 6 events to date and there are only 4 remaining.
Matt currently holds the lead, but summer vacation is beckoning. Who's going to take advantage of his absence? Wade? Shawn? Wayne? All are within striking distance.

Maybe you need more fibre in your diet?
As I see the thunderstorm warning on Castanet it made me realize you theoretically still have a chance if mother nature were to get involved. If we ended up with only 14 races then we would only count 10 and you would be back in business. So you better hope for a rainout

Do we now.....would you care to share who that driver might be

Being a GRC fan, my vote is for Tanner Foust.

Updated after 12 events....
Looks like this years Thursday Champion will be a Schmidt. The odds are definitely in Matt's favour. Wade pretty much needs to win 3 in a row to catch Junior. Second through fourth is up for grabs....Shawn and Wayne both have Wade in their sights.
Looks like no matter what happens the top four cars will be Hondas
