So did anyone notice the similarity between this week and last week? Didn't think so

This course was the mirror image of last week. As in the start and stop were reversed as was the direction, but the pattern was the same. The elements were made to look different and of course there were slight changes in entry/exit to avoid bumps. Just an experiment to see if anyone would pick up on it

So maybe the waitress was right?

Everybody else went faster than the week before. You did not - that makes me think the slicks are dead......and of course you're pax number is terrible with them.

For Kelowna a shorter tire is better on almost all cars.....actually every car I can think of except maybe a Mazdaspeed Miata. Tires are really just another gear - shorter is better acceleration with the added benefits of lower unsprung weight and lowering the center of gravity. The MR2 should be on 205/50/15 - that's my guess anyway.

Good luck with the volley ball girls

185/60/14 = 22.7" tall. 205/50/15 = 23.1" tall. The droid you seek might be the 195/50/15 which is 22.7" - it's not as common, but the Bridgestone RE71R that everybody runs does come in that size. They're about $600 a set at Costco in that size

In Street class you're allowed to move up or down 1" in rim diameter - none of the fast tires come in a 13" or 14" size though

I don't believe I got a 48 on my third run, last I remembered I had a DNF on that run because I turned the wrong way on the last corner. Unless you guys are just letting it slide or something because it was my first day with the NX 2000.

No - you don't get a free pass just because you got a new car  . Nice car though by the way - it looked really good.

Not sure what happened - maybe the DNF wasn't called in or maybe it wasn't entered in the timing program. Either way - the points don't seem to affect anyone else, so I'll just leave it as is. Thanks for being honest though
