Here is a thread I started a while back and occasionally update. It is mainly my car build, but contains some posts on how autocross works and road racing as-well.

Hey Aaron!
Thanks for the link! I'm REALLY impressed! It reveals your incredible talents in Automotive Mechanics which confirms why you have superb, supernatural driving abilities in AutoX.
I hope you pursue the dream of some high level professional track racing because I think you could go far!

Check it out. Video compilation of the Knox hill-climb in the Civic.

Awesome compilation! Not only are you an excellent mechanic and driver, you're a good GoPro videographer!
Wish you had more grunt, it just seems you deserve to go faster!
Thanks for sharing.

Nice job on both the drive and the compilation. Saw you coming right out to the edge of the road. I have been wanting to do it too. However, after watching how narrow the road is, I don't think I would want to race up in a more powerful car. What are the sparks from on the video in the wheel well? Very interesting video angles.

Thanks guys! It's faster than it looks in the video 5cents. Though its not a difficult road to drive, I would rather be driving on the offence (using all 91hp) than the defence (keeping 300hp out of trouble) just for safety sake.
The sparks are from the pads digging into the rotors. From just 7 runs up Knox and 2 autocross days, I lost about a 64th of an inch of material from the front rotors, I cant wait to see what mission does!
