The plan was to go to Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca in Monterey but the MX5 school didn't come out west this year.
I ended up in Braselton Atlanta at Road Atlanta for the 3 day course.
Road Atlanta is described as a roller coaster ride with a 10/10 intimidation factor (as per one instructor).
The Petit La Mans is held there in September as a warm up to the 24hrs of La Mans
There are lots of blind turn ins to corners you can't see until you're already committed.
Turn 12 onto the front straight is an off camber high speed sweeper where entry speed is determined mainly by the size of your walnuts.
Here is my fastest lap on my last run of the course.

I was a bit tense after my previous session and decided I didn't need to push so hard and risk my neck. Weird thing is my fastest lap of the day was in the next session on the first lap after warm up.
