New Firefly engine is back together and on my "break-in test" stand, but I ran out of time. Theoretically almost twice the horsepower of the 5.0L (which wasn't much, honestly). Maybe maybe maybe it will be back together and sorted in time for an event. I'm still not dead last in the standi...

No additional weight. Maybe actually less weight - the strokes are the same, but the 350 has more aluminum piston and less iron cylinder sleeve. If only I had a 400 kicking around....

Firefly won't be out for a bit - the 30 year-old 170hp 5.0L died and is being replaced.

Still not dead last, and still dominating E/Mod. I broke down and ordered heim joints for the rear. The poly bushings are reducing compliance making it harder to put power down, especially on this lot. Clearly I need to keep coming out more for further testing.... At least, if the wheels are spinnin...
